Do you want to set up your slender, tall gabions securely and prevent them from tipping over? Our robust fence posts made of hot-dip galvanized steel ensure a firm stand and lasting stability - whether in the garden, on the driveway or as a decorative gabion wall.
The posts are made of 2 mm thick square tubing with a cross-section of 4 × 4 cm. This makes them a perfect match for our gabions with a mesh size of 5 × 5 cm. The upper end is fitted with a plastic cap, the lower end remains open to allow secure anchoring in the ground.
Simple installation - flexible for foundation or ground anchoring
The length of the post should match the height of your gabion and the ground conditions. Select the post so that it can be set in concrete 60-80 cm deep in a frost-proof area. The visible part should then be around two thirds of the gabion height.
If you already have a foundation, you can alternatively anchor the posts securely with our matching post shoes - without setting them in concrete.
Secure stabilization - without additional fastening
After installation, the gabions are simply placed over the posts. No additional fastening is required: the posts are completely covered and securely wedged in place by filling them with stones. This keeps your gabion permanently tilt-proof and visually appealing.
Tip for the right number
We recommend two posts per running meter of gabion. At least two posts should also be used for individual elements to ensure maximum stability.
